Depending on the season, you may also witness one of nature’s greatest spectacles: the annual migration of wildebeest across the Serengeti plains, as vast herds move in search of fresh grazing. Day 1: Tarangire National Park
Your Tanzania camping safari begins after breakfast with a departure to Tarangire National Park for a full-day game drive.
Upon arrival at the main gate, you will complete registration before entering the park to begin your wildlife adventure. Tarangire is renowned for its large elephant herds, iconic baobab trees, and diverse wildlife. You will enjoy both morning and afternoon game drives, giving you ample opportunity to spot a variety of animals in their natural habitat.
In the late afternoon, you will drive to your campsite for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, you will depart for Serengeti National Park on a scenic journey of approximately five hours.
Along the way, you will have the option to visit Olduvai Gorge for a fascinating historical tour (optional). Upon arrival at the park gate, you will enjoy your packed lunch before continuing into the Serengeti for an afternoon game drive.
The Serengeti’s vast plains are home to abundant wildlife, including large predators and, depending on the season, the Great Migration. After your game drive, you will return to the campsite where dinner will be served. Overnight at the campsite.

Day 3: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Conservation Area
You will start the day with an early morning game drive in the Serengeti, when wildlife is most active. Afterward, you will depart for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
En route, you may stop at Olduvai Gorge, a site of immense archaeological importance. It was here that Drs. Louis and Mary Leakey discovered the fossils of “Nutcracker Man” and “Handy Man,” key links in the story of human evolution.
In the late afternoon, you will arrive at your campsite near the crater rim, where you will enjoy dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha
After an early breakfast, you will descend over 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive.
The crater floor, sustained by year-round water and grazing, supports a vast variety of wildlife including wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and magnificent African elephants. The crater is also known for its high concentration of predators such as lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and the elusive leopard.
You will visit Lake Magadi, a shallow alkaline lake in the southwestern corner of the crater, often home to flamingos, hippos, and numerous water birds.
In the late afternoon, you will ascend from the crater and transfer back to Arusha or proceed directly to the airport for your onward journey.
